To check the charge in the battery, press and hold the # key. You'll need to keep your finger on it for at least 8 seconds until the screen changes.

The screen will show the battery voltage and then the software version.

e.g. 11.6V and then v1.34

The Bangalore Broadside needs at least 11.6V to power the control box and to fire the gun.

If there's less than 11.6V, the control box may still work but won't have enough power to fire the gun.

If you've got less than 11.6V, charge up the battery.

I'm pressing the # key but it doesn't do anything!

The # key is a shortcut to check the battery voltage that was introduced on later software versions. If you have a really old version of the software, you can use the long method to check the battery voltage:

  1. Hold the ADVANCED PROGRAM button.
    The screen will show PROGRAM.
  2. Tap the program button until the screen shows STATUS.
  3. Tap the OK button.
    The screen will show BATTERY.
  4. Tap the OK button.
The screen will display the battery voltage e.g.BAT 11.6V

Again, if your battery voltage is less than 11.6V, charge up the battery.
