The Bangalore Broadside's code ERROR 2 means that the time taken to charge the spark capacitor (the large blue component on the back of the board) was far too short.


This could be caused either by:

  1. A faulty capacitor or;
  2. A faulty coil or;
  3. The coil is disconnected.

Try re-seating the HT lead onto the coil. If the problem persists, it's likely to be a faulty board or coil.
